Creating photographic enlargements that are "suitable for framing" has always been a passion at FotoTechnika. Many printing options are available along with a staff that has the expertise to advise as to which process will best fit your needs. The lab began with silver halide technology using traditional photographic paper; our ZBE Chromira LED Digital Printer and Noritsu Digital Minilab allow FotoTechnika to continue a legacy in true photographic printing.
All Noritsu and Chromira prints are chemically processed using Fuji Crystal Archive paper which has been laboratory tested to last 40 years or more. Procedures such as dodging and burning that were traditionally carried out in the darkroom can be performed by technicians using Adobe Photoshop and since finished images are saved as digital files they can easily be repeated in exacting detail. Graphic posters on photographic paper, counter cards and collages can also be produced on the Fuji Crystal Archive paper on either the Chromira or the Noritsu. Chromira prints are ideal for large output (bigger than 8"x14") landscapes, nature shots, portraits and fine art photos where photographic realism is important. Depending on file resolution, prints can measure up to 30" wide, with lengths exceeding eight feet.
Another FotoTechnika specialty is producing large quantities of digital photographic prints that might not be cost effective to run on consumer inkjet printers, yet quantities too few to have printed economically by commercial offset printers. Our digital photographic printers allow great flexibility, productivity and economy when printing large quantities. Graphic products such as Foto Greeting Cards, Foto Posters, Foto Business Cards, Foto Counter Cards and Foto Envelope Stuffers can be printed in quantities from ten to one thousand.
