Evolution Of Solution

Slide Show

In the window to your right is a low resolution version of a DVD presentation we produced in-house -- with a little help from our friends-- as an introduction to FotoTechnika Fine Art Imaging. We have included downloadable player software in case you need it. The show, entitled “Evolution of Solution," is available at full resolution on DVD, too. (We thought you might have better things to do with you time and bandwidth than to wait for a high resolution version to download.) If you would like to see the real thing just email us with your name and address, tell us whether you need the presentation formatted for your computer (PC or Mac) or your home DVD player, and we'll send you a DVD tailored to suit.

Brian Wanta, our giclée guru and corporate partner for over 17 years, was a multi-media specialist and producer back when he first joined us. When we were contemplating how to produce something fresh and catchy for marketing, we hit upon the idea of an old fashioned, multi-media slide show, but this time in a digital format. Brian jumped at the opportunity to produce a slide show once again, especially since he would get a chance to use the most up-to-date digital tools. “Back in the day” slides were shot; reel-to-reel tapes were recorded, dubbed, edited and spliced; banks of slide projectors were employed using then-state-of-the-art computer controllers cabled to projectors and sound systems -- all to make a stimulating and dynamic presentation. In our opinion there still is nothing as effective as the impact of rich photographic images projected in a slide show in a dark room, but that was then and this is most certainly now. Today, with digital technology the equipment is different, but the production process is the same. The story-boarding, the timing, the photography, shot selections, narration and editing of music are all just as important as they were in the past, and we think Brian still has the touch.

If you have an extensive fine art portfolio you may wish to have Brian create a slide show that can present you and your works of art to potential clients in this fresh old/new way.
